Welcome to BPKR! We are an independent, foster based rescue for kittens & pregnant/nursing cats, serving the Lehigh Valley & surrounding areas, in Hellertown Pennsylvania. We primarily focus on orphaned, neonatal kittens under the age of 8 weeks old, as we have lots of resources in young kittens compared to other rescues.

BPKR was founded by 12-year-old Riley in the summer of 2019, now 17, Riley has rescued over 300 kittens. We take in the smallest, most critical kittens, and give them a 2nd shot at life. We provide our smallest kittens with incubator units, oxygen, and lot’s of extra TLC.

We work closely with a local cat veterinary practice dedicated to the well-being of felines, to give the best health care possible to our kitties. They perform all of our spays/neuters, exams, and all other medical needs.

We are a foster-based rescue, meaning all of our kitties are cared for in foster homes up until adoption day. We do not keep our animals in cages waiting to be adopted, we aren’t a shelter.
